Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève No. 724303, case No. 313037, Ref. 2523/1, circa 1955. Very fine and rare 18ct gold "World Time" gentleman's wristwatch with two crowns.

C. massive, polished, satined, lapidated lugs. D. mat silver revolving ring dial bearing the names of 41 towns fo the world, at the centre, mat silver dial with applied gold indexes, concentric, revolving dial in 24 hours bearing the nocturnal and diurnal hours. The windingcrown next to the "3" adjusts the hours and the 24 hour ring; the winding-crown next to the "9" turns the ring with the places names. Gold fancy hands. M. 12 "'-400 Geneva Quality Hall Mark, rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and 5 positions, antishock system, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. In excellent condition. Diam. 36 mm.
