Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 722700, case No. 306202, Ref. 2523, circa 1957. Extremely fine and rare, "World Time", 18ct gold gentleman' s wristwatch, with two crowns, with 18 ct gold Patek Philippe bracelet.
C. massive, polished, lapidated lugs. D. mat silver revolving ring dial bearing the names of 40 towns of the world, at the centre, a "guilloché" gold small dial bearing the signature and Roman numerals, concentric, a revolving dial in 24 hours for the diurnal and nocturnal hours. The windingcrown next to the 3 adjusts the hours and the 24 hours ring; the winding-crown next to the 9 turns the ring with the places names. Gold fancy hands. M. 12"'-400 signed Cartier, rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat. cold isochronism and 5 positions, antishock system, selfcompensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition.
