This World Time system was invented by Louis Cottier and produced for Patek Philippe, Vacheron & Constantin, Agassiz and Rolex. Patek Philippe has created several models of World Time watches and wristwatches, comprising several dress watches, some with cloisonne enamel dial, wristwatches with one of two crowns, some also with cloisonne enamel dials, usually representing polychrome maps or planispheres of various areas of the world, and an unique rectangular "galbc" pink gold model, made in 1937.
