Ref. 2526, ?Platinum with Diamond Indexes" Patek Philippe, Genève, No. 761412, case No. 687561, Ref. 2526. Made in 1954. sold on December 23rd, 1955. Very fine and very rare, early, water-resistant, self-winding, platinum gentleman's wristwatch with diamond indexes and an 18K white gold Patek Philippe woven gold bracelet by Gay Frères. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives and recently serviced by Patek Philippe.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, rounded bezel, concave lugs, screwed-down case back with presentation inscription. D. Satiné silver with applied baguette and square diamond cut indexes, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds dial. White gold "dauphine" hands. M. Cal. 12???-600 AT, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 30 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, 18K gold rotor.
