PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 2540, PINK GOLD "TV" Patek Philippe, Genève, movement No. 764811, case No. 699844, Ref. 2540. Made in 1957, sold on May 23rd, 1958. Very fine and rare "carré galbé", self-winding, 18K pink gold wristwatch with an 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by a photocopy of the Extract from the Archives.
C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, triangular lugs, snap on case back. D. Matte silver with applied pink gold baton and pyramidal indexes, subsidiary seconds dial at 6. Pink gold baton hands. M. Cal. 12'''600, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 30 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, 18K gold rotor. Dial, case, and movement signed. Dim. 31 x 31 mm. Thickness 11mm. Property of a German Collector
