Platinum & Diamonds Patek Philippe & Co., Geneve, movement No. 840434, case No. 504230., Ref. 279. Made in 1937, sold on August 24th, 1937. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold and platinum, diamond-set lady?s wristwatch. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe fitted box and the Extract from the Archives.
C. Two-body, rectangular, the shoulders and lugs set with 16 round diamonds, further articulated white gold links each set with 2 round diamonds (total weight approx. 0.65 ct.). D. Black with applied yellow gold round and baton indexes. Yellow gold feuille hands. M. 8'''80, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 38 x 11 mm. Thickness 7 mm.
