Notes

This watch was fully serviced and overhauled by PATEK PHILIPPE in 2010. Since the service it has remained sealed in the service packet.
REF. 3417 Production of this reference started in 1958. The caliber 12???- 400 was in production then, and some of the examples were Amagnetic like the present lot. The Amagnetic cal. 27-400 AM was launched in 1960. Amagnetic calibers are fitted with a bronze beryllium lever escapement and are protected by a soft iron cap. Similar watches are published in ?Patek Philippe Wristwatches?, by M. Huber and Alan Banbery, 1998, pp. 192 and 194
