Patek Philippe Ref. 3440 Patek Philippe, Genève, No. 1111019, case No. 311015, Ref. 3440. Made in 1962. Very fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch on Patek Philippe 18K gold bracelet by Gay Freres stamped 2-62.
C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back, sloped bezel, lapidated straight lugs. D. "Satin", silver with applied yellow gold baton indexes, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold baton hands. M. Cal. 27-460, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 37 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, free-sprung Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, 18K gold rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 10 mm. Length approx. 200 mm.
