Very fine and very rare, astronomic, self-winding, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, luminescent indexes and hands, and an 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle. Yellow gold luminescent "Dauphine" hands. M. Cal. 27-460 Q, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 37 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism ad 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensting Breguet balance spring, 18K gold rotor.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 37 mm.

Ref. 3448 Produced in 586 examples from 1962 to 1982, with the caliber 27-460 Q, the majority in yellow gold, rarely in pink or white gold. This series began with the serial number 1119000. A unique example of this reference is known to date in platinum. Its movement was made in 1973 and, at the request of the owner, it was cased in platinum by Patek Philippe, with sapphire indexes on the dial, and delivered on January 9, 1997. A watch bearing this reference but without moon phases similar to the followi g lot was sold by Antiquorum on ovember 19, 2000, lot 276, for a record price of SFr. 465'500 U$ 260'060.
