PATEK PHILIPPE, REF. 3738, "ELLIPSE", JUMBO AUTOMATIC Patek Philippe, Genève, movement No. 1193497, case No. 2800200, Ref. 3738. Made in 1981, sold on February 11th, 1983. Very fine, oval, self-winding, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by fitted box, extract from the Archives, service invoice from Gubelin dated 2010 and an extra Patek Philippe leather strap.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, sapphire crystal. D. White with painted Roman indexes. Black baton hands. M. Cal. 240, stamped with the Geneva quality mark, rhodiumplated, fausses cotes decoration, 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, selfcompensating free-sprung fl at balance spring, 22K gold microrotor mounted on ball bearings, mono-directional winding. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 31 mm x 35 mm. Thickness. 6 mm.
