"Skeleton Automatic" Patek Philippe, Genève, Ref. 3878, case No. 2794619, No. 1239018. Made in the 1990s. Very fine and very rare, skeletonized, selfwinding, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, central lugs, transparent case back, engraved band, cabochon sapphire-set winding crown, sapphire crystals. D. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. M. Cal. 240 SQ, skeletonized, made by Pierre Dominietto and engraved by Christian Thibert, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, free-sprung Gyromax balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, 22K gold micro-rotor. Movement signed. Diam. 31 mm. Thickness 5 mm.
