Very fine and rare, astronomic, self-winding, platinum wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases and a platinum Patek Philippe deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted winding box, setting pin and Certificate of Origin.

Production of this reference started in 1985 and ceased in April 2007. The model No. 1 was dedicated to Theodor Beyer and is now in the "Museum of Time Measurement" in Zürich. Ref. 3940 replaced References 3848 & 3850 and is among the most sought-after Patek Philippe references.
