M. 240 Q, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 27 jewels, lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 position, shock-absorber, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, mobile stud bearer, 22K gold micro-rotor mounted on ball bearings.Dial, case and movement signed. This model was chosen for a limited edition of 25 pieces procuced for the Chronometrie Beyer in 1985, on the occasion of its 225th anniversary in 1985. The model No. 1 was dedicated to Theodore Beyer and is now in "The Museum of Time Measurement" in Zürich.The Beyer watch is published in "Patek Philippe Genève, Wristwatches", by Martin Huber and Alan Banbery, Patek Philippe & Co., Geneva, 1998, pp. 292 and 294.
