Notes

This platinum 3970 was initially delivered with the classic black diamond index dial. Shortly after purchase, the original owner decided he preferred the layout of the 5004 dial, which he also found to be more legible. He returned the watch to the Henri Stern agency in New York where he had purchased it, to have the dial changed. Patek Philippe confirms that the watch is registered as having both dials.
