Extremely fine, rare and important, tonneau-shaped, minute-repeating, astronomic, self-winding, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with retrograde perpetual calendar, moon phases, leap year indication and an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the original mahogany box, Certificate of Origin, Extract from the Archives, setting pin, instruction booklet, gloves, loupe and cloth.

R 27 PS QR, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 39 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock-absorber, selfcompensating free-sprung fl at balance spring, 22K yellow gold micro-rotor, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Reference 5013 was launched in 1992. It was the follow-up to the famous reference 3974 (see lot 404), utilizing the same base caliber movement, but housed in a large tonneau-shaped case as opposed to the classic 3974 case. Reference 5013 is further distinguished by the retrograde calendar which eventually made its way to reference 5016.
