Patek Philippe Pink Gold ?TV Watch? Patek Philippe, Genève, movement No. 3045046, case No. 2956229, Ref. 5020R.Made in 1994, sold on November 24th, 1994. Very fine and very rare, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, perpetual calendar, leap year and 24-hour indication, moon phases and an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box, and a spare solid 18K pink gold case back, and the Extract from the Archives.

C. Two-body, solid, polished, concave lugs, transparent snap-on case back, sapphire crystals. D. Satiné silver with applied pink gold Breguet numerals, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, 24 hour and leap year indication, graduation for the date, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases, outer minute/ seconds divisions. Pink gold Breguet hands. M. Cal. 27-70 Q, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 24 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, selfcompensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 37 x 45 mm. Thickness 13 mm.

Ref. 5020, the so-called ?TV Watch? (1995-2001) Reference 5020 is fitted with caliber 27-70 Q, like the famous Ref 3970. Due to its unusual shape and its similarity with the more traditional 3970, it was not produced in large numbers. Ref. 5020 was available in yellow, pink, and white gold, as well as platinum. Very few were fitted with a gold bracelet, all on special request; they were only available at the Patek Philippe boutique in Geneva.
