Notes

Property of a Canadian Collector To be sold without Reserve Ref. 5029 The Officer's-style case of Patek Philippe's earliest wristwatches has remained a classic design since 1915. Collectors appreciate the solid workmanship of the traditional pocket watches retained here in the knurled crown, hinged back-cover and round case. The cover hinges on lugs protecting the crown and providing a visual balance to the slide-piece for the repeater at 9. This special model was produced in 1997 to mark the inauguration of Patek Philippe's new watch-making center in Geneva. It was produced as follows: - 10 examples in 18K yellow gold with champagne dial, - 10 examples in 18K pink gold with opaline silver dial, including one with a gold dial made especially for an important Patek Philippe customer, - 10 examples in platinum with a black dial.
