Very fine and extremely rare, gilt brass, solar-powered desk clock with electrically powered remontoire and perpetual calendar.

C. Rectangular, with brushed brass side and back panels, four square en suite columns, the top with solar cells, the back with an applied plaque engraved ?A. Eber, 25-4-1969?. D. Silvered with painted black indexes, apertures for days of the week, date and months in Italian. Gilt baton hands. M. Based on a 17''' Gondolo keyless mechanical movement, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, freesprung gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold and 1 position, solar-powered with lithium battery back-up, driving a remontoir train which replaces the barrel spring. Dial and movement signed. Dim. Height 14 cm., width 20 cm., depth 9 cm.
