Notes

Ref. 5035On March 1, 1996, Patek Philippe obtained Swiss Patent No. 685585 G for a completely new date mechanism: an annual calendar for a wristwatch with automatic winding. This ingenious mechanism is programmed to take into account the varying lengths of each month from March 1 to the end of February of the following year. This is the first automatic wristwatch in which the calendar needs to be adjusted only once a year. This wristwatch is part of a limited edition released in 1999 in commemoration of the 100th year anniversary of the Milan A.C. soccer club. These wristwatches were available to club members and club friends, but were never available to the general public.A similar watch is published in "Patek Philippe Genève, Wristwatches", by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, 1998 Edition, p. 323.
