Notes

Engraved on the case back: "In celebration of 200 years Boodle & Dunthorne - 1798 - 1998 - 20/20"Produced in a limited edition of 20 examples to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Boodle & Dunthorne's foundation in Liverpool. The business was acquired in 1880 by Henry Wainright and since then, the company remained in family control with a fifth generation member having recently joined from university. The last decade and a half has seen the company expand from its Liverpool origins with stores opened in Manchester, Knightsbridge, Regent Street and, for their bicentennial year, Sloane Street.Boodle & Dunthorne celebrate their bicentenary with a specially commissioned watch from that other family-run company Patek Philippe. Designed in conjunction with Andrew Wills from the Regent Street store, the watch is appropriately enough, a perpetual calendar based on Patek Philippe's well-known movement.
