Notes

Engraved on the case back: "In celebration of 200 years Boodle & Dunthorne - 1798 - 1998 - 3/20". Produced in a limited edition of 20 examples to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Boodle & Dun-thorne's foundation in Liverpool. The business was acquired in 1880 by Henry Wainright and since then, the company has remained in the family, with a member of the fifth generation having recently joined. The last decade-and-a-half has seen the company expand from its Liverpool origins with stores opened in Manchester, Knight-sbridge, Regent Street and, for their bicentennial year, Sloane Street. Boodle & Dunthorne celebrated their bicentenary with a specially commissioned watch from Patek Philippe. Designed in conjunction with Andrew Wills, the watch is based on a well-known Patek Philippe movement.
