Very fine and important ?Officier-style?, astronomic, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman`s wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, retrograde date and an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted winding box, setting pin and Certificate of Origin.

C. Four-body, solid, polished, hinged case back over transparent crystal to view the movement, rounded band and bezel, straight lugs with yellow gold screwed bars, sapphire crystals. D. White with painted radial Roman numerals, retrograde sector for the days of the month in the center, apertures for the days of the week at 9, the months at 3, the leap years at 12 and the moon phases, outermost minute and 1/5th seconds divisions. Black bronze gold "feuille" hands. M. Cal. 315/136, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 31 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, 21K gold rotor. The perpetual calendar Ref. 5059 possesses an intriguing complication: a retrograde date display. The date is indicated by a hand progressing along a 240° arc located within the hour scale between 8 and 4 o'clock. Around midnight on the last day of each month, be it the 28th, 29th, 30th, or 31st, the hand automatically jumps back to the numeral 1. The perpetual calendar plate is the same used in Patek Philippe?s most prestigious references, the Ref. 5013 and 5016.
