Patek Philippe launched the first special set of four ?Calatrava? wristwatches with enamel dials in 2000, produced in a limited edition of ten sets per year. The hand-painted dials ensure the uniqueness of each watch. The set for the year 2000 featured floral motifs, the upcoming set, presented at the Basel Fair of 2001, will have a bird motif on the dials.This is the first set ever to be offered for sale at auction.
