Sold on May 8, 2001. Very fine and rare, rectangular lozenge, water-resistant, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with10-day power-reserve and an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box, a certificate of origin, an attestation, a "Bulletin de Marche du Contrôle Officiel Suisse des chronomètres", and a solid silver medal to mark the third millennium inlaid in a Plexiglas plate, in a leather pouch.

Ref. 51000 has a newly-developed Patek Philippe movement with a 10-day power reserve, a first in the history of watchmaking. It was produced in 3000 examples only: 1500 in yellow gold, 750 in pink gold, 450 in white gold and 300 in platinum, the latter with a flawless Top Wesselton diamond set between the lugs at 6 o'clock. To guarantee the exclusivity of limited edition Ref. 5100, the case production tools will never be used again.
