Notes

Initially launched in Basel in 2006, the reference 5104 marked a new era in Grande Complications for Patek Philippe: the introduction of a skeleton perpetual calendar minute repeater with retrograde date and age of the moon combined with a self-winding movement. The crystals used for the dial were actually combined with steel, a new technique for which Patek registered a patent. The movement, Patek Philippe caliber R 27 PS QR, was modified to match the design of the watch, by means of the plate for the additional mechanisms that is plated in pink gold, and the rotor, which is specifically decorated to match the floral engraving on the flanks. Through innovative technology, research, and ingenuity, Patek Philippe has created a masterpiece that stands out among all previous Grande Complication watches.
