Ref. 5134 ?Gübelin? Is one of Patek Philippe?s smaller recent limited editions exclusively made to celebrate the prestigious firm?s cooperation with a retailer. Unlike the Ref. 5150/?T-150? watch for Tiffany made 2001 in 450 pieces or the Ref. 5125/?Wempe? watch made 2003 in 225 pieces, the 2004 limited edition Ref. 5134/ ?Calatrava Travel Time? for Gübelin consisted of only 180 watches, produced as follows: - 50 pieces in 18K yellow gold with a two-tone chocolate dial with applied and faceted yellow gold baton indexes. - 45 pieces in 18K pink gold with a two-tone anthracite dial with applied and faceted rose gold baton indexes. - 45 pieces in 18K white gold with two-tone blue dial with applied and faceted white gold bâton indexes. - 40 pieces in platinum 950 with two-tone black dial with applied and faceted white gold bâton indexes. Decorated on the transparent case back with the inscription ?Gübelin 1854 - 2004? to commemorate a relation dating back to 1854, the Ref. 5134 is a very practical travel companion, which allows changing the time for a second time-zone at the push of 2 buttons, so gracefully designed into the case. To enhance its functionality, Patek Philippe has optimized Ref. 5134 with a patented ?dynamometric? winding crown, eliminating any risk of failure or damage to the winding mechanism, when reaching the fully wound position. A fine clicking will indicate that the mainspring is sufficiently wound to power the watch for approximately 44 hours. (enlarged
