A similar watch is published in ?Collecting Patek Philippe Wristwatches? by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido Mondani Editore Genova, 2004, vol. II, p. 76, as well as in "Patek Philippe Wristwatches", by Martin Huber and Alan Banbery, 1998, p. 262. Ref. 530 Production of this reference began in 1938 and lasted approximately 15 years. Due to the size of the watch, which was not fashionable at the time, production was limited to only a few examples, in yellow gold, pink gold, and stainless steel. Produced in a very few examples, this model is among the most admired and sought-after by collectors.
