Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 863446, case No. 509215, Ref. 530, made in 1944, sold on December 9, 1945. Production of this reference started in 1937. Very fine and extremely rare, 18K yellow gold, oversized gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the "Extrait des Registres".

Ref. 530 Production of this reference began in 1937 and lasted approximately 15 years. Due to the size of the watch, not much in fashion at the time, production was limited to only a few examples, in yellow gold, pink gold, and stainless steel. Only four examples in stainless steel are known to exist today. One of these was sold was sold by Antiquorum on April 12, 2003, lot 160, obtaining a world record price of SFr 938'500.
