Reference 530, "Sector Dial" Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 862323, case No. 506554, Ref. 530. Manufactured in 1939, sold on 24 February 1940. Production of this reference started in 1938. Very fine and extremely rare, oversized, stainless steel "Staybrite" gentleman?s wristwatch with square button chronograph, register and tachometer with a stainless steel Patek Philippe buckle. Recently serviced by Patek Philippe. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

Blued steel "Feuille" hands.M. 13''', rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, 8 adjustments, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed. Consigned by the descendants of the original owner Ref. 530 Production of this reference began in 1937 and lasted approximately 15 years. Due to the size of the watch, which was not fashionable at the time, production was limited to only a few examples, in yellow gold, pink gold, and stainless steel. Only four examples in stainless steel are known to exist today. One of these was sold was sold by Antiquorum on April 12, 2003, lot 160, obtaining a world record price of SFr 938'500.
