Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, "Pagoda", No.1852169, case No. 4013506, Ref. 5500J. Produced in a limited edition in 1997, sold on September 13, 1997. Very fine and very rare, rectangular, flared, "bombé", "Pagoda"-shaped, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by a commemorative booklet, sterling silver medal, a certificate and the "Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronometrès".

C. two-body, solid, polished, concave sides, case back engraved "Commemoration 1997 Pagoda". D. champagne with applied yellow gold Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds dial. Cal. 215 stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating freesprung balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Dim. 29 x 41 mm.

The Pagoda series was created in 1997 to mark the inauguration of Patek Philippe's new watchmaking manufacture in Geneva. Destruction of the tools and dies used in its production ensure that this model, reference 5500, can no longer be made.
