Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneve, "Pagoda", No. 1858392, case No 4013325, Ref. 5500J-001, made in 1997. Very fine and rare, rectangular "bombe", "Pagoda" shaped, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch, with fitted box and certificate.

C. flared, massive, polished, satined, concave sides. D. Champagne with applied gold Roman numerals + auxiliary seconds dial. "Feuille " burnished steel hands. M. 215 Geneva Quality Hall Mark, rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, Giromax balance adjusted for heat, cold isochronism and 5 positions, antishock system, selfcompensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 29 x 41 mm.

This watch was specially produced in 1997 to mark the inauguration of Patek Philippe's new watchmaking centre in Geneva. It is one of a chronometer wristwatches of which 1100 are in 18K yellow gold, 500 in I8K pink gold, 250 in 18K white gold and 150 in platinum.
