Patek Philippe & Cie., Geneve, No. 931073, case No. 683466, Ref. 605, made in 1950, sold on 20 December 1957. Extremely fine and rare, "World Time", 18K pink gold keyless dress watch with polychrome cloisonne enamel dial representing the map of North America.
C. Three piece, massive, "variee", polished with milled revolving bezel. D. Cloisonne enamelled with the map of North America and gold indexes, outer Arabic dark and light revolving chapter ring for clay and night hours and the world time chapter ring, bearing the name of 41 cities regions and countries around the world and revolving with the bezel according to the Louis Cottier world time patent. Gold hands. M. 16"', rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and five positions, blued-steel Breguet balance spring with swan-neck micrometric index. Signed on the dial, case and movement. Accompanied by Extract .pvni the Archives. Diam. 45 mm.
