C. Three-body, brushed, snap-on case back. D. Two-tone, brushed and polished silver with applied steel baton indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Steel feuille hands. M. Cal. 17-250, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 45.5 mm.

Stainless steel dress watches by Patek Philippe are very rare because most examples are made from precious metals. The present watch has a very beautiful two-tone dial in untouched condition, the design of which is in line with the best wristwatch dials of the period.
