Patek Philippe Dome Solar Clock "La Chasse aux Oiseaux et lE Lièvre" Patek Philippe, Genève, Pendulette Dôme, movement No. 872936, case No. 525, Ref. 712. Made in 1960, sold on March 3, 1961. Very fine, solar-powered and electro-mechanical, gilt brass and sapphire table clock. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe fitted box and Extract from the Archives.

C. Cylindrical brass, the side and domed top engraved with game birds, clouds, trees and a running hare, the solar cells on top of the dome. D. Silver with applied brushed gilt chapter ring with 8 applied circular gilt indexes and 4 square sapphire indexes for the quarter-hours. Gilt dauphine hands. M. Cal. 17-250, solar-powered by photoelectric cell with lithium battery back-up, driving a remontoir train, winding the barrel spring, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial and movement signed. Dim. 21.5 x 13 cm.
