"El Toro - Solar Clock" Patek Philippe, Genève, ?Pendulette?, No. 873225, Ref. 813. Made circa 1970. Fine and unusual, solar-powered gilt brass and lapis-lazuli table clock with electrically-wound remontoir. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Brushed brass, 4 square columns, top with solar cells, the sides and hinged back door decorated with textured designs incorporating bulls. D. Textured gilt brass with lapis-lazuli bâton and square dot indexes. Facted gilt brass ?baton? hands. M. Based on a 17''' Gondolo keyless mechanical movement, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold and 1 position, ?swan neck? micrometer regulator, solar-powered with lithium battery back-up, driving a remontoir train which replaces the barrel spring.
