Solar Clock Patek Philippe, Genève, ?Pendulette?, No. 874312, Ref. 813. Made circa 1970. Fine and unusual, solar-powered gilt brass, palisander and lapis-lazuli table clock with electrically-wound remontoir. Accompanied by the Patek Philippe box.
C. Brushed brass, 4 square columns, top with solar cells, palisander sides and hinged back door. D. Palisander with applied lapis-lazuli baton and square dot indexes. Facted gilt brass baton hands. M. Based on a 17''' Gondolo keyless mechanical movement, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold and 1 position, swan neck micrometer regulator, solar-powered with lithium battery back-up, driving a remontoir train which replaces the barrel spring. Dial and movement signed. Dim. height 14,3 cm., width 14 cm., depth 9 cm.
