"The Ellipse Paperknife" Patek Philippe, Genève, No. 1504178, case No. 550797, Ref. 913. Made circa 1985. Very fine and extremely rare, 18K gold paperknife with built-in quartz watch and fitted slip-case.

C. Two-body, polished and brushed, long blade with foliate terminals, polished bezel, cabochon sapphire-set winding crown.
D. Brushed blue gold with engraved Calatrava logo. Gold "dauphine" hands.
M. Cal. E27, quartz standardization, rhodium-plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 6 jewels, adjusted. Case and movement signed. Dim. 200 x 31 mm.
