18K white gold, diamond-set and sapphire-set, manual-winding, oval-shaped, lady’s bracelet-watch, case-back screwed by four screws, silver dial with applied logo at 12.

Integrated bracelet and bezel set with 88 baguette-cut diamonds, ten brilliant-cut diamonds (20 carats approx.; from 0.05 ct. to 0.35 ct.) and four calibré-cut sapphires (5 x 3 mm.).

According to the current owner of this watch, this jewellery piece was especially designed by Mr. Paul Castella (1920-2019), the owner of the Dixi Group, for his wife on the occasion of a wedding anniversary.

Paul Castella was the owner of the Swiss group Dixi, a specialist in machine tools and micro-mechanics.
In his “fiefdom” of Le Locle, in the 1970s, he bought up watchmaking brands that were then in difficulty: Zenith, Movado, Mondia, Paul Buhré, H. Moser & Cie, Zodiac, etc.
At the time, it was the largest employer in Le Locle (more than 850 employees), so much so that for a time the Neuchâtel mountain town was nicknamed “Dixiland”.
