Regulator designates an adjustment tool that displays minutes and hours separately. This unique dial display allows the time to be read very precisely. Perrelet’s regulator with retrograde hour is fitted with a 12-hour aperture retrograde indicator for the hours. A large counter positioned at 6 o ’clock indicates the minutes.
When the hour reaches the end of the 12th segment and the minute hand arrives at the 59th minute index, it performs a retrograde jump, moving to the beginning of the 1st segment to resume its 12-hour cycle.
