Very fine, prototype, self-winding, pink gold wristwatch with triple retrograde perpetual calendar, moonphase.

Three body, solid, brushed, inclined bezel, lapidated lugs, transparent case back with 6 screws engraved prototype, ribbed band, sapphire crystals Bicolor, satiné silver with applied square indexes, retrograde subsidiary dialsfor the days of the week and the month, and leap year indicator. Blued hands Cal. PK 2001, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, index regulator.

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 44 mm. THICKNESS 12 mm. Upon the launch of the SPIRIT OF CHALLENGE line, the watchmakers were given the challenge to develop in-house a perpetual calendar movement and were given 2 challenges. The first was that at least 3 displays on the complication were retrograde and the second was that it has to be developed and working within 12 months. The challenge was fulfilled and this is one of the three prototypes made that launched the model. Its retail price in 2003 was CHF 62'000.
