QUINTING - MONTRE MYSTERIEUSE Quinting, Geneve, "See-Through Watch", No. 006, Ref. Q2. Made in the 2000s. Fine and heavy, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold, center-seconds, quartz "mystery" wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Quinting deployant clasp.
Three-body, solid, polished, transparent snap-on case back, fluted band, stepped octagonal bezel, fluted curved lugs. Transparent, made of sapphire crystal, outer gray ring dial with lozenge indexes and Roman quarter-hour numerals, inner gilt ring for the minutes and seconds. Luminous blued steel fleche hands. Invisible electrical movement powered by 5 batteries, fixed under the outer ring dial, electromechanically driven balance. The sapphire crystals revolve by electric impulses with a frequency of 32768 Hz.
