Gold plated metal (10 microns), open-face, keyless-winding, round-shaped, pocket watch, with centre-seconds and one horological complication, music and automata:
· Alarm (setting on the central index by the crown at 11 o’clock)
· Music (separate movement winding by a key through the cuvette (dome), activating by the alarm)
· Automaton scene with three animations (activating with the music)
· Erotic automaton scene with one animation (activating with the music)
The dial showing a gallant scene in Venice, showing the Grand Canal with the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute from the St. Regis with three characters in a gondola, a man rowing, the other man playing the mandolin, while the woman in the centre is resting under an umbrella.
On the cuvette (dome), we find two of the characters, the man taking the lady deeply; do you recognise him, is he the gondolier or the musician? … unless it is the famous Casanova!
