Signed Dial, case and movement Richard Mille watches were born of experimental research onhigh-tech materials with a distinctive design to reinforce the ideaof performance. In 2001 , RM001 was released which features aradical new imagining of a classical tonneau case design; RM002is also released in 2001 which is the first in history to have amovement baseplate crafted from titanium. In 2002 the brand released their first tourbillon watch featuringdual time zones RM003. In order to test the tourbillon accuracy, F1 racer Felipe Massa was appointed as the Test Driver. He woreRM 003 on his hand throughout the season for 16 A races, andthe watch still maintained its excellent precision under the extremeenvironment in a racing car, which the outstanding stability of theTourbillon is proven.
