Two-body, 'Empire', bezel set with split-pearls, the back cover withn a painted on enamel panel depicting a couple in classical costume garlanding an altar within a landscape with translucent royal blue enamel sky over sunray engine-turning, split-pearl set border. Convex white enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions. Gold heart and poker hands. 42 mm., matte gilt full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced continental clock with polished steel endplate, silvered regulation dial.
