Very fine and rare, "carré cambré", water-resistant, self-winding, 18K white gold and diamond gentleman's wristwatch with jumping retrograde date and hour, retrograde minutes and an 18K white gold Roger Dubuis deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box, certificate of origin and ?Bulletin de Marche? from the ?Observatoire National de Besançon?. Property of a Gentleman from the West Coast

Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave bezel and lugs, coaxial button on the winding crown for the quick setting of the date, transparent case back with 8 screws and "RD" monogram, sapphire crystals. D. Bronze motherof- pearl with guilloché center, set with 100 round diamonds, painted Arabic numerals and dot indexes. Blued steel "cathedral" hands. M. Cal. RD 5799, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, ?swan-neck? micrometer regulator.
