So-called ?coin-edge? Rolex Chronographe "Anti-magnétique", Ref. 4062. Made in the 1940s. Very fine, oversized, 18K pink gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter. Accompanied by a gold-plated Rolex buckle.

C. Three-body, solid, polished, coin-edge band, stepped bezel, thin teardrop lugs. D. Satine silver, applied pink gold dart indexes, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer blue tachometer graduation, red telemeter scale, concentric fifths of a second scale with Arabic five second numerals. Pink gold "alpha" hands. M. 13''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, index regulator. Dial, case, and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 12 mm.

Ref. 4062 Produced in stainless steel, in stainless steel and gold and in 18K gold from 1942 to 1963. In the early 50s the lugs were larger, giving the watch a more robust appearance. This chronograph met with great success and was produced for 21 years.
