Rolex Oyster "Centregraph" Chronometre, Ref. 3642, made in 1938, produced in stainless steel only, in less than 50 examples. Extremely rare, waterproof, center second, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with single round button chronograph.

C. polished, satined, screwed back and crown, graduated bezel. D. two-tone silver with painted Arabic numerals and indexes. "Baton" blued steel hands. M. 10 1/2"' rhodiumed, 18 jewels, lever escapement, Superbalance balance adjusted to 6 positions, self-compensating Breguet balancespring, the single button is for start-stop and return to zero functions of the chronograph. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Diam. 29 mm.

Centregraph as well as the Zerograph are instruments of very high precision, to calculate intermediary consecutive ti mes, i.e. when it is necessary, in one single operation, to stop, go back to zero and restart the second hand, for either sports use, car racing, motorbyke, bicycle, or even to calculate the production times of manufacturing process.
