Notes

Reference 2919 was made in a very small series in 1937 and was available in stainless steel or 18K gold. To the best of our knowledge this is the first example of a reference 2919 to have appeared at an international auction. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, pp. 400, 401.
