Notes

Since her launch in 1989, the Italian-registered Longobarda has been recognized as the outstanding Maxiyacht of her era, proving this by winning the World Maxi Yacht Championships in 1989/1990. Her success was the result of a successful combination of Bruce Farr?s design talent, Ambrosini build quality and a no-expense-spared build budget. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, pp. 312, 313
