Ref 16008 Gold ?DateJust? Rolex ?Oyster Perpetual, Date- Just, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified?, Ref. 16008/16000. Case No. 5242537. Made in 1977. Fine, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with red ?Sunburst? dial, date and a gold plated Rolex buckle. Accompanied by an additional champagne dial (as illustrated).

Champagne ?sunburst? with applied gold radial Roman numerals outer minute/seconds track, date aperture. Luminous gold ?bâton? hands. M. Cal. 3035, rhodium plated, 'fausses côtes' decoration, 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, free-sprung monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 13 mm.

The present lot bears two reference numbers, 16008 on the body of the watch, which refers the specific characteristics of this watch and Ref. 16000 in the case back, which refers to the series of references to which it belongs.
